PHILLIPS MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Mission Statement

Phillips Mental Health Services mission is to help you as the individual address a wide variety of challenges, strengthen your interpersonal and familial relationships and promote insight into the decisions you make by providing you with confidential professional counseling.

Phillips Mental Health Services, "Where hope makes the impossible, POSSIBLE."

My Treatment Focus

My therapy style includes the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Behavior Modification.  CBT therapy is scientifically tested and is based on the cognitive model which is, simply that the way we perceive situations influences how we feel emotionally.

Client Focus

My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Therapy

Depression & Anxiety

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

Trauma & PTSD

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Relationships

Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.

Professional Testimonials

Testimonials

Sioux Falls, SD Attorney

Connie is able to accommodate and provide services to my clients that other facilities or programs cannot or will not. She is able to work around my client's schedules to make her services available.

Professor at South Dakota State University

Connie is a very successful practitioner in the mental health field. She provides caring, compassionate support to those dealing with life's circumstances.

Director of Psychological Health at SD Air National Guard

Connie is a great therapist who has the unique ability to truly do mental health and addictions counseling. These two areas often co-mingle and it can make therapy and recovery much more complicated, but excels with this. She can also see kids and was actively involved with a great children’s program during her internship - another skill that makes her unique.

"Connie Fritz-Phillips is an excellent licensed professional counselor who is a unique blend of competence and character.  Her services are exceptional and I would highly recommend her to those suffering from adversity that life too often brings.  You can trust Connie to provide confidential services that will increase the likelihood that you will move towards fullness of life."
